Hopeless Romantics
“It’s nice to sit back, close your eyes, and wonder about who you are, what you want, and why you feel the way you feel. Hopelessly being in hope about life is pretty fun when you get to take a breather and manifest; romanticizing isn’t so much running in grassy fields as it is idealizing for the right start to your day. Of course there’s going to be delulu-ness but it’s all in good moderation :)”

There will be a new trail mix of songs every week, interjected with full album listening parties. Calle 54
Hector Ruiz
In 2000 the documentary Calle 54 was released, it screened the creation of Latin Jazz, a genre that mixes Latin and Afro-Cuban rhythms that migrated along with people to the Bronx, who mixed this ritmo with the harmonies of Jazz. It was the early 2000´s and I was a high school student who liked to stay up at night watching random movies. One night, I saw Calle 54, and that day I started to listen to this music, too.
